Many veterans in our communities are living in difficult conditions, including severe hoarding situations that pose health and safety risks. I have witnessed this not just as a First Responder, but first hand. When these homes are deemed uninhabitable, city or county code enforcement can force the occupant to leave—often with no support and no place to go. Unfortunately, insurance rarely covers the cost of cleaning and restoring these types of environments.

Our goal is to raise funds to provide free or reduced-cost biohazard and hoarding cleanup services to veterans in need—giving them a second chance to live safely and with dignity in their own homes.
